ALMG made a submission to Treasury during the February consultation period, concerning the exposure draft legislation for changes to the Location Offset. ALMG stands with Ausfilm, and the studios, businesses, screen guilds and Australian crew that have lobbied the Federal Government over the years to increase the Location Offset from 16.5% to 30%. ALMG encourages swift legislation and implementation of the amendment to the Income Tax Assessment Act (ITAA1997.) Let’s lock this thing in!
